NEW SWAG SHOP: IATSE Local 839 WANTS “Equal Pay for Equal Paint”!
The IATSE Local 839 Color Designer Committee is fighting for gender pay equity in Color Design — one of The Animation Guild’s most female-dominated crafts.
Color Design is the last step in the pre-production design process. It entails creating color palettes for all animated assets in a production: characters, props, and effects.
Historically, this work was done in the Ink and Paint department, and women were relegated to this department in the early days of animation. Now, many of the jobs in that department are gone from union animation studios. But Color Design is a survivor. Still female dominated, Color Designers have had to advocate for pay equity with design colleagues.
WOMAN’S CHOICE CLINICS RAISING FUNDS FOR ABORTION CARE WITH NEW SWAG SHOP
A Woman’s Choice Clinics are independently woman-owned and operated in Charlotte, Greensboro, & Raleigh, NC, Jacksonville, FL, and Danville, VA.
This new Worx client is offering quality, compassionate abortion care and hopes to create a future where this can happen without barriers, fear, or interference from others.
The clinics provide safe, effective, and affordable first and second trimester abortion care, miscarriage management, pregnancy testing, emergency contraception, birth control, and HIV/STI testing.
Their new Swag Shop features t-shirts saying, “We Honor Your Hopes And Dreams”, and you can visit their shop to support their mission.

F.I.I. also partnered with Worx on this tote that’s heading to the Convention in Chicago. It’s produced for a group of three great organizations:
1. Emily’s List
2. Planned Parenthood Action Fund
3. Reproductive Freedom for All
This “remember to vote” merch will be used to support a joint event the three organizations are having during the Convention.
